Fall 2022 Class start

After a summer break, the Albany Hungarian class will start on October. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in the Hall of Saints located beside St. Margaret church.

Everyone of all learning levels is welcome to attend. There will be enough review so that people should be learning something each class even if they have missed previous classes. I can understand if you find 6 pm too early to get there and can make allowance for students who can get there by 6:30 pm.

We will be using the same reference book as previously. There will also be reference sheets of common words printed out in class. Taking notes to help your memory in reviewing throughout the week is strongly encouraged.

The First Class of 2022

 After almost two years of waiting, the Albany Hungarian classes have started up again.

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30PM until 8:00PM in the Hall of Saints located beside St. Margaret church.

As the instructor, I was relieved that my first class went well. We will be reviewing the sounds of the Hungarian language and practicing simple sentences the first few weeks.

 If you see a very good instructional video of the Hungarian language for English speakers on YouTube, please post a link in the comments. Ideally it would either include English descriptions or be specifically made speaking understandable Hungarian for beginners.
